1. The Consultation

  • Getting to Know You: The consultation is an essential first step. It’s where we discuss your ideas, inspirations, and any specific designs you have in mind. This is a chance for me to understand your vision and for you to ask questions.

  • Design and Placement: We’ll talk about the placement of your tattoo, considering how it fits with your body. I’ll offer suggestions based on your preferences and my expertise.

  • Customization: If you want a custom design, I’ll sketch out concepts based on our discussion. This may involve several iterations to ensure you’re completely happy with the design before we proceed.

2. Booking the first session

  • Scheduling the Appointment: Once we spoke about the design, we’ll schedule your appointment. I’ll require a non-refundable deposit to book a date.

  • Give you a quote: this will depends on the kind of tattoo, size, placement, time. See more about Pricing here.

  • Confirming the appointment: I’ll confirm the appointment once I receive the deposit. For more about Deposit Policy here.

3. The Day of the Tattoo

  • Arrival and Setup: When you arrive, I’ll ensure the workspace is clean and organised. We’ll go over the design one last time to confirm you’re ready to move forward.

  • Consent Form

  • Stenciling the Design: I’ll create a stencil of your design and apply it to your skin, ensuring it’s positioned exactly where you want it. This gives you a chance to see how it will look before we start.

4. The Tattooing Process

  • Getting Started: Once you’re comfortable and ready, I’ll begin the tattooing process. I’ll explain what to expect, including the sensation of the needle.

  • Pain Management: Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. If you start feeling uncomfortable, just let me know. I’m here to help you feel at ease during the process.

  • Breaks: I’m happy to take breaks as needed. It’s essential that you feel comfortable throughout the session.

5. The Reveil

  • Final Touches: Once the tattoo is finished, I’ll clean the area, apply some tattoo butter and have a look in the mirror!

  • Aftercare Instructions review: I’ll provide you with aftercare guidelines to help you prepare for the healing process. Understanding how to care for your tattoo post-appointment is crucial for achieving the best results. More about Aftercare here. This includes cleaning, moisturizing, and avoiding sun exposure.

  • Taking Photos: If you’re comfortable, I’ll take photos of your new tattoo for my portfolio. This helps showcase my work and can be a great way for you to remember the experience!

  • Scheduling a second session after at least two weeks, if this is part of a multi-session project. The skin has to be fully healed before I can tattoo again.

6. The completion of the project

  • Follow-Up: I’ll encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns during the healing process. I’m here to support you even after you leave the studio.

  • Healed Tattoo Pictures: The final result if how your tattoo looks after is healed. This is why it’s very useful for me to have a healed picture of your tattoo so I can add it to my gallery. For this we can schedule a little appointment. We’ll use this opportunity to have a look if there are any Touch-ups needed.

  • Touch Ups: they are rarely needed, but sometimes some ink can drop out or be absorbed by the body. As well as some colours, especially light ones and white might loose a bit of intensity. Retouches are free during the first month after the tattoo is made. More info at T&C.

7. How to thank me & how I thank you!

  • Final Touches: Once the tattoo is finished, I’ll clean the area, apply some tattoo butter and have a look in the mirror!
